Chapter 1: The haunted house
It was a dark halloween night, two best friends named Shiney and Kimi were trick or treating together.
Shiney had on a black tubetop and a short black mini-skirt; she had on black stockings that reached her thighs with a pair of black dress shoes. A pair of cute cat ears poked out of her head that blended in with her long silky dark brown hair and a jingling bell around her neck.
Kimi's costume was quite unigue she wore a long black dress that had puffed shoulders with a red bow neck tie and white buttons going down. she had batwings poking out of her bright long blonde hair and a pair of black shoes to match her outfit.
Shiney and Kimi passed a house so haunted that it gave them chills just looking at it.
"I've heard so many bad things about this house," Kimi replied.
"Oh come on, it won't be so bad!" Shiney replied, cheerfully.
"Are you sure about this?"
"Of course,"
Both of them entered the creaking house and once they got inside the door slammed behind them and made them jump.
Inside the hous was dark and eerie and neither one of the girls dared to move an inch.
"Why did we hafta come here again?" Shiney asked, her voice quivering in fear.
"Why are you asking me? It was your idea." Kimi replied.
"Yeah..but you didnt hafta listen to me!" Shiney told her.
"Yeah...you think I would let my only best friend go to this spooky place alone?" Kimi said.
"Probably not,"
Kimi and Shiney clung to each other as the slowly moved towards the first room.
Inside the room they saw a figure as ghostly as can be and they did the first thing they could do they screamed as loud as they could as it approached them both running up the creaky stairs and into the master bedroom, closing and looking the door.
"That...was...s-scary!" Kimi replied.
"I know, we should get out of here!" Shiney said.
"How...by jumping out the two story window?!" Kimi cried.
"Sure!" Shiney replied.
"No way!"
The two best friends clung to each other as they started to hear footsteps come up the stairs.
"Shiney...if I dont make it alive...I want you to know that you'll always be my best friend for life!"
"Kimi...we're not going to die. Usaully ghosts arent that deadly."
"Oh now you gain back confidence!"
"It's not like I was really scared, you know!" Shiney lied.
"I was following your lead!"
The footsteps had stopped.
"Let's hide!" The two of them took cover under the bed and saw the ghostly figure poke its head through the door.
"Mommy...where are you?" cried the young girl.
"I told you its harmless," Shiney spoke.
"Shhhh!" Kimi shushed her.
"Mommy?"
Both the girls screamed as they got out from under the bed, quivering in total fear.
"Y-you're not my mommy!" Said the girl.
"P-please don't hurt us!" Kimi sobbed.
"Why would I do that? I just want my mommy!" The girl pouted.
"We...dont know where she is," Shiney said.
"Mommy said she would come back..."
"When was the last time you saw her?" Kimi asked.
"She was in this very room...all I know is that she got real sick. The doctor told me that she may not recover unless she is at the hospital...I couldnt go and the doctor never came back either!" Cried the girl.
"That would mean that she died," Shiney told her.
"No! S-she wouldnt...she's coming back I know she is!"
"Shiney...let's go...we shouldnt interfer with the ghost's business!"
"No, I think we should help her,"
"Shiney!"
"Ok ok! I'm coming,"
All of a sudden they heard more footsteps; they looked at the little girl still crying and looked towards the door as it opened.
"Mommy?"
"I told you I would come back!"
"Mommy!"
The next thing Shiney and Kimi remembered was that they had came up to the haunted house but Kimi stopped her from going and they continued their trick or treating.
